A horse of course

On this trying to snow day, I thought it would be fun to go to the horse corral and use their fence. I had NO IDEA the horses would be this friendly and ham it up for the camera THIS much?! seriously? (we did bring a bag of carrots, though....)

uh, that's a cutie pattootie if I ever saw one

a white Christmas for Christmas!

We had to wait for the little bear to make a snowball........

Ok, it was the day after Christmas, but this new snow still counts for a white Christmas. Pat has the family all together (a rarity!) from all parts of the country for the holidays in Sun Valley. What better way to remember this special time than with some fun portraits!

I love the candid lifestyle portraits in between the group shots.....

The Pearson family

Just as I was in the middle of a Ridley Pearson novel, his wife calls me for a family portrait while they were here for the holidays! How ironic is that?! They wanted black and white studio pics, and I warned them that my studio was small, and we would have to get close and cozy. Such a fun and loving family - they were all over it.

Plus a couple of Ridley for his upcoming books... This man has written more books than I have read! Amazing!

Kim and Matty the wonder dog

My friend Kim loves playing frisbee with her dog Matty in the fresh snow, so we made some pictures to make some great memories. It just snowed, so it was REALLY deep.....

Good dog, you get a treat!!
