Lifestyle photo shoot for the Community School

All of a sudden, with only a week of school left, the Community School got the budget ok for some new photos for their expanding website and brochure and media packet. I shot it 'gorilla style' and captured some great lifestyle images for them. They wanted pics of students studying, engaged in learning, and portraying the low student/teacher ratio. Luckily when I arrived, there were students studying, everyone engaged in learning, and there was plenty of teacher student interactions. Wow. I wish I could have gone to this school. The science class just goes out the door to study eco systems in the river that runs through it.
and of course we needed lots of portraits of students and teachers to round out the brochure....

As a gift for Stuart & Tracy (because I'm going to be visiting Jackson Hole more and more....), I took some pictures of their 'kids'. Such handsome doggies! I just kept my camera handy, and caught them being themselves -their personality- they just adore Tracy and look up at her in the kitchen spellbound...

Senior Portraits, and a kitty closeup
Now is the time for senior portraits. I went out to the Flannigan house, and the property has so much great stuff around that we didn't have to go anywhere else. There is nothing harder than teenage boys (ok, two year olds!), but he was great! We did some serious ones, but are you kidding me with that dynamite smile?!

Strength, Balance, and Joy. Yoga with Richard...
I love my job. Always something different. Richard has so many fans out there that he's been nudged into making a yoga video. Part instuction, part inspiration. We wanted to portray the 'feeling' of a yoga session with Richard - incorporating strength, balance, and of course joy. We wanted to do a portrait, without doing a portrait - if you know what I mean. He's also moving into the 21st century with a website - stay tuned! Randi Pallan will be doing the design, so it will be fabulous and I can't wait to see it. (maybe Richard will give me a copy? I've been feeling a little old lately, and no doubt some yoga would do me good)
