John & Mary at the Diamond D Ranch

John's grandchildren

Mary's son, Levi walks her down the aisle

wow! Their backyard!!

We laughed. We cried. Sometimes at the same time.

Dana, from Teton Springs Lodge in Victor, Id, was amazing to work with. Her clever ideas just kept on comin.....

clever and thoughtful without being 'over produced'...

The guests were invited to put wishes on the wishing tree

Rick, her husband is the head chef at the 5 star Amangani in Jackson Hole. The food was absolutely amazing!

so, over the top food and wine, but yet casual setting in their backyard. Buffet & sit where you want when you're hungry. Perfect.

the 'fun' table

Levi gives his mom a big hug.

then the party moved next door to the caretakers's house, where we bonfired and danced to a great band.

Congrats you two!!! What a pleasure it was to get to know your families!

John & Mary's wedding at the Diamond D Ranch

The dirt road seemed to go on forever. BEYOND the River of No Return Wilderness, tucked in the mountains at the headwaters of Loon Creek, lies the Diamond D Ranch. Co-owned by the bride and groom, it seemed like a fitting place to gather the clans... The ends of the earth? or the center of the universe?

the bride and groom's lovely house next to the ranch

John talks with his buds over morning coffee and a picture perfect view

Dana keeps it all rolling.....

It's a regular dude-ranch, so we saddled up....

looking down on the ranch....

...meanwhile, back at the Ranch....horsing around with grandma
it made us all want to shed our clothes and run around naked and free!

mom and some girlfriends arrive by bush plane!

John and Mary have been together for 18 years. Why now? Why not!

Loon Creek Lodge shirts and blankets for guests!

A very special gift from American Painter Scott Christensen

and now off to the Diamond D for some home-style cookin...!
