Multi-generational Portraits at the Family Cabin

Every other year Margaret and her family come together at the family cabin out Baker Creek for a re-union. I photographed their wedding (back in the film era) and now I'm honored to document their growing family. My favorite part about my job is getting to know and becoming friends with my clients. After the photo shoot they invited me to stay for dinner - what a treat!

life cracks me up sometimes. Here's the little guy poking Grandma in the eye! ah, that's life!

Monica and Greg's beautiful life..... their wedding in Sun Valley

We LOVE Monica and Greg (Smith and Smith before getting married!) because they love candid photography & didn't want any posed pics. So I let life unfold...lucky for me they had a beautiful life - surrounded with the most important things in life - family and friends and lots of love...
I was there to capture some glimpses... here are some of my favorites....

She is a I love the fact she actually has a 6pence taped to her shoe!

could it been a more perfect day?? omg

The day flowed beautifully because of Heather Minor, event coordinator extraordinaire
and thanks to Nicole at Sun Valley, too!
did you guys order the weather? can you do that?

just as Monica reaches for the ring, a puff of wind blows her hair back to reveal her tattoo

seriously, this couple was so cute together

Monica, you're such a beauty!!

ok, I gotta get ONE pose - thanks, guys!

TaraBella really outdid themselves with the flowers

His speach to his bride had me, him, and her, in tears...

then a birthday cake for mom!!

then we danced the night away to the amazing Geoffrey Castle!
(they discovered him one night in a roadhouse? coming back from a trip?)
I set the slideshow to his music, so stay tuned for that.....
He played a version of Hendricks that had everybody stopped in their tracks!

Thanks Jamilynn at Vertu - Monica's hair was gorgeous and really complimented her dress - even thoughout the night

Amy from The Sweet Crumb provided the most mouthwatering latenight treats

oh yeah, nothing like a good DJ and a wedding to bring out all those dance moves - ha!

Congrats you two. Love you!
