some cute stuff in between rain storms, cold butts and foot fetishes

oh, you're killing me.......

so then we came inside and got some fun 'life portraits'...

ha grandpa! you will stay young forever if you keep playing with the girls like that. Happy Birthday!

Mom's little superstar jumped in front of the camera and said "have you seen me lately?" Ha! that's the funniest thing I've heard all week. Just another day at the office..........

10 years of family portraits

I had the pleasure of photographing Adam and Julie's wedding over 10 years ago, following with pregnancy portraits, and now it's blossomed into family & baby portraiture for them - and his brother Jason. They live in California now, but visit family here in the valley -this winter at the same time - and I'm lucky enough to swoop in and document their growing families.
their new little one is such a cutie patootie!

Here's Adam and Julie and thier boys...

Janie is one of the hippest grandmothers I know! And she has a beautiful home out East Fork which I LOVE to photograph at

I also love baby parts....... beautiful little quirky things that I find beautiful, but won't last forever....

new toes!!!!

ok, so Adam and Jason get my father of the year award for building the most amazing sledding hill in thier mom's back yard. The Eask Fork Luge!!! Way to go! (I even had a spin on it)
and that wraps up another afternoon with the Hairston families. See you next summer!

More winter portraits

I shot Frank & Jill's wedding almost two years ago, and it's so great to see their family grow. Introducing one of the cutest little guys ever - Dominic. This is one blessed little baby, as he is surrounded by LOTS of love.

then I came inside to see how many candid portraits I could get.....

little Dom is beyond cute!
Frank & Jill - so great to see both of you and your family grow! You're good people. See you in Arizona in June for Julie's wedding!........

Everyone home for the holidays

Lisa saw me out Adams Gulch when I was taking pictures of Todd and 'his kids', and wanted some portraits of the family when everyone was back in town, including her daughter in law's brother visiting from Brazil! I had a little degree of difficulty with a fussy baby and some dogs...

to get the little tyke in the mood!

Here's Lisa with her 'other kids'

although the house is really dark, with my new Nikon D700 it's no problem, and stayed to get some candids which I love. I think they are almost more telling to paint the picture/tell the story of a family....

as I was leaving I couldn't resist a portrait of the 'welcoming committee'
